New Zealand ETA application form tips
Do you think to tour and see New Zealand? Starting from 1 October 2019, most visitors to New Zealand will now need to request a NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) to gain access to the country. The ESTA-style visa waiver has been introduced to screen travellers in advance of their arrival for border and immigration risks and forms part of a wider government effort to make border crossing as seamless as possible. The new ETA system will apply to all air and cruise travellers from 60 visa waiver countries, who will need to obtain the ETA up to 72 hours before travelling to New Zealand.
There is no need to physically go to an embassy or consulate and the eTA New Zealand online application form only takes a matter of minutes to complete. Although most applications are processed in as little as 1 business day, some applications may take up to 72 business hours to be processed. Once approved, the eTA New Zealand (NZeTA) is sent to the applicant electronically. Once approved, the New Zealand eTA is valid for 2 years and can be used for multiple visits. Applicants are required to pay a small processing fee and tourist tax, the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL), to obtain the NZ eTA.

Among the most accessible glaciers in the world, Franz Josef and Fox glaciers are the main tourist attractions in spectacular Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Both of these rivers of ice flow from some of the highest peaks in the Southern Alps to near sea level where the gentle coastal climate makes it easy for visitors to explore them on foot. Guided hikes lead to the contorted frozen landscape of ice caves and pinnacles at the foot of the glaciers.
